Description

Long before it became a museum, this site operated as Houston's active Fire Station No. 7 from 1899 through 1969. Established in 1982 to protect local firefighting heritage, the institution pairs exhibits of antique gear with community-focused fire safety education and prevention. Displays also feature a 9/11 Memorial linked to the World Trade Center, while the facility hosts guided tours and private gatherings alongside its on-site shop.
