The Horticultural Society of New York

While the organization operates out of a small but beautiful space in lower Midtown, its work extends far beyond the library. The society coordinates greening initiatives across New York City, notably building school gardens and running a variety of public classes. Onsite, an exceptionally helpful staff is on hand to help visitors navigate their resources and diverse programs.
