The Hip Hop Nutcracker

Jennifer Weber directs and choreographs this holiday mash-up, where Tchaikovsky’s score meets hip-hop dance. A dozen all-star dancers, a live DJ, and a violinist bring the story to life. Maria-Clara and the Nutcracker Prince battle mice, visit the land of sweets, and learn holiday lessons. Digital graffiti and visuals shift the setting from 19th-century Germany to the vibrant sights and sounds of contemporary New York City. Recommended for all ages, with every patron needing a ticket.
