The Ghosts Behind Hollywood's Marquees, on a One-Hour Evening Walk
Seven Hollywood stops, from the El Capitan and the Chinese Theatre to the Magic Castle, each told through its ghost lore.
The walk starts on the sidewalk outside the El Capitan Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, and the listing fits seven stops into its sixty minutes. Two are theatres: the El Capitan itself and the TCL Chinese Theatre. The others include the Magic Castle, the Hollywood First National Building and Hollywood High School.
Most stops last seven or eight minutes. The guide tells each story from outside the building, then moves the group on. One reviewer in July 2025 called the pace quick but informative.

The listing sells one ticket type for ages 0 to 99. It costs USD 26 per person, children included, and each booking needs at least one adult.
Booking closes four hours before the start. Confirmation is instant.

The El Capitan is where the group gathers and the first story is told. The listing ties it to the stars and film premieres of its past, and to shadows said to drift through the building.
The TCL Chinese Theatre follows, with its forecourt of handprints. Premieres can get in the way. A reviewer in September 2022 missed the handprints: a premiere was on that night. Another, in May 2023, had time to look at all the names of stars there.
Then comes the Magic Castle, a private club for magicians. The listing says it is rumored to be home to restless spirits. The club's own FAQ says entry is only as a member's guest or with a guest pass, reservations are required, and no walk-ups are allowed.
A Bank Tower, Then Hollywood High

The Hollywood First National Building is the tower with the pointed crown. The listing calls it a once-bustling hub that now holds stories of ghostly apparitions. A reviewer in November 2022 singled out "the vacant bank building with beautiful architecture."
Hollywood High School carries the last of the listed stories, about sightings and sounds reported by students and staff. In April 2025 a reviewer wrote that a phone in airplane mode started ringing in front of it.
The listing also includes a hotel and a lookout along the way. The operator's page names the Hollywood Sign among the topics.
History First, on a Loud Boulevard
Reviewers mostly describe a history walk with ghost lore laid over it. A two-star review from October 2025 had hoped for more gore. In February 2022 another reviewer recommended it for people interested in history more than for anyone hoping to witness something supernatural. A parent who brought a 10-year-old daughter in October 2021 found it spooky and creepy, and not too much for the child.
The boulevard is loud at night, and several reviewers wished for headphones or a microphone. A reviewer in March 2026 offered the simplest fix: lean in.
