Description

Named for the refugee transport ship that brought co-owner Jennifer Johnson's mother and grandparents—Holocaust survivors—to New York in 1949, the restaurant pairs deli heritage with a broader contemporary lineup. Alongside the classics, the kitchen serves dishes going beyond tradition with a focus on fresh ingredients and simple preparations. Daytime visits center on breakfast, lunch, or weekend brunch backed by an espresso bar serving locally-roasted Dancing Goats coffee, while dinner runs Wednesday through Sunday with a full bar. Next door, sibling spots TGM Bread and TGM Soup Co. offer loaves to take home and quick soup-and-bread lunches.
