The Game Cellar

After outgrowing its El Monte origins, the shop relocated to San Gabriel to offer a roomier setup, anchored by eight large tables in a climate-controlled room that accommodates both small meetups and full gaming groups. Binders and shelves stay stocked with sealed boxes, trading card singles, D&D essentials, merchandise, and snacks.

In-person play extends past regular card tournaments to casual community sessions, such as girls' game night featuring board games, card matches, and trivia. Staff actively welcome questions on deck construction without pushy sales pitches, pairing the relaxed room with relatively cheap event entry.
