💌 Two Mothers, Two Young Men

Tom Jones rewrote his own book and lyrics for this production. The two fathers who ran the con in 1960 are now two mothers scheming over the same garden wall, and the daughter has become a second son, so the lovers are two young men. Previews began October 22, 2026; the November 7 matinee is still a preview, and opening night is November 16.

🎵 The Songs Everyone Hums

Harvey Schmidt's score is why a show with almost no set ran 42 years Off Broadway. Try to Remember, the ballad that opens the evening, is the reason people know the title, and hearing it in a house this small is the argument for going. Soon It's Gonna Rain and They Were You are the other two to listen for, and Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer and Ruthie Ann Miles lead the cast as the two mothers. Budget about two hours fifteen with one intermission.

🚪 Stage Door, Subway and Rush

Rear mezzanine seats listed at 64 dollars plus 15 dollars in fees on October 25. Student rush is 25 dollars, on sale two hours before curtain: 2 tickets per full-time high school or college student ID, subject to availability, blackout dates may apply.
