The East Nashville Music Room Behind A Sunset Mural
Live bands fill a small muraled room on Gallatin Avenue, where East Nashville keeps some of its loudest nights.
🎸 Loud on Gallatin
The East Room is a small live music venue in East Nashville, set on Gallatin Avenue behind a painted mural of a road running into a striped sunset. Inside, string lights hang over a low stage and a scatter of candlelit tables, and the floor fills in front of the band the moment a set starts.
The room leans toward the loud, left-of-center acts that round out an East Nashville bill, and the crowd packs shoulder to shoulder against the stage once the amps come up. A side wall carries the venue name in tall white letters, beside an electrical box layered in years of band stickers.
It sits north of the honky-tonk stretch downtown, a short drive across the Cumberland into the Gallatin corridor, and holds a 4.6 rating across more than three hundred reviews. The mural out front, lit after dark, doubles as the marker regulars watch for when the lineup changes.
