UMD’s performing arts hub pairs standout acoustics with a lively mix of student recitals, theater, and touring acts.
Description
The complex gathers several performance venues under one roof, spanning the Dekelboum Concert Hall and Gildenhorn Recital Hall alongside dedicated theaters and specialized dance studios. Across these spaces, the calendar reaches beyond regular stagings to host festivals and educational workshops. The center also functions as a working creative base on campus, housing UMD’s School of Music, the School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies, programming by Clarice Presents, and the Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library.
