Description

The museum organizes its focus across dedicated galleries and archives. Its permanent installation, Absence of Humanity: The Holocaust Years, 1933–1945, anchors the historical galleries, while the Blonder Family Gallery presents History with Chutzpah: Remarkable Stories of the Southern Jewish Experience. In the Schwartz Gallery, the programming introduces rotating and traveling exhibitions. Beyond the display floors, the facility serves students, teachers, and researchers through the Ida Pearle and Joseph Cuba Archives for Southern Jewish History, the Norman L. Estroff Reference Library, and the Weinberg Center for Holocaust Education.
