Richard and Virginia Corder first opened the doors in 1965, running a straightforward lineup of pies, salads, and beer for more than half a century. While tavern-style crusts remain the anchor—spanning house recipes like the Savannah White pizza—the kitchen rounds things out with American and Italian classics like hearty burgers and Italian beef sandwiches. A recent change in ownership brought an updated wine list and a freshened dining room, while preserving the unpretentious beach-town character that keeps North County locals returning.
