The Bee Gees Story, Sung Live on a Branson Stage
Three singers cover nearly four decades of Bee Gees hits, from "To Love Somebody" to "Night Fever," with matching choreography.
Hamners' Variety Theater on Shepherd of the Hills Expressway runs five shows, and Back to the Bee Gees is the one built on the Gibb brothers' catalog. Three entertainers carry the songs, from "To Love Somebody" and "I Started a Joke" to "Night Fever" and "How Deep Is Your Love," bringing, in the listing's words, "their own voices to the unmistakable sound of the Bee Gees."
That wording is deliberate. A guest writing in July 2026 said the cast tells the audience "right up front they are not impersonators, they just sing Bee Gees music." The high parts are where they win people over. A March 2026 reviewer was struck that they sang "flawlessly, even though many songs were in falsetto."

The listing names seven songs, "Jive Talkin'" and "More Than a Woman" among them, and calls them only a few of the hits in the set. The story gets told between numbers. A guest writing in September 2026 described the singing alternating with "the TV screens and performers" recounting how the band formed, its successes and challenges. A December 2025 reviewer found the songs "interspersed with actual Bee Gees footage."
The set also reaches past the Bee Gees' own records to songs the brothers wrote for other artists. Guests in both 2025 and 2026 mention that stretch, and one in June 2026 singled out "their songs written for other artists" as the most interesting of the facts on screen.
Three Voices Up in the Falsetto Register

Reviewers keep returning to the high notes. One writing in October 2025 said the trio "kill those high notes," and a June 2026 guest who has seen it four times said the harmonies bring "goosebumps every time, especially when they sing a cappella." The listing promises energetic choreography, and guests describe all three moving in sync through disco poses, with multiple costume changes along the way.
The cast also works the room. A September 2026 guest in the front row wrote that one singer came down from the stage, danced with the guest's wife and had her sing a line into the microphone. A September 2025 visitor found the performers "very friendly to meet at intermission and after the show."
A Drummer and a Guitarist Joined for 2026
The listing still bills this as a brand-new production. Guest reviews of the show on the same listing go back to March 2021, and the handful of older reviews there describe a Conway Twitty tribute that once sold under it. What is new this year is the band. A September 2025 reviewer docked a star for "no band," and by April 2026 one guest was calling it a "revamped show for 2026." A May 2026 guest wrote that the cast had "added a drummer and a guitarist now."
The room is on the small side, according to a September 2025 guest, who also said the sound system did not "blast out your ears." That verdict predates the band. A September 2026 reviewer found the music "way too loud" and the lyrics hard to follow.
