Description
The American Book Center is a local chain with a vast English-language selection of physical and e-books. The store's interior is well decorated, and the travel section unfolds as you head upstairs. Sci-fi and fantasy fans get especially deep aisles. There's also a good sale section, though prices aren't its strong point. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and the atmosphere invites browsing for hours. A standout are the mystery buys: books wrapped in brown paper with clues on the outside. They also serve a selection of teas, coffee, and cake.
