A Change of Tempo

SFJAZZ and ABV put different kinds of craft in focus. Miner Auditorium presents internationally renowned jazz performers, with synchronized light shows accompanying select sets. ABV brings that attention to detail to cocktails and inventive bar plates in a narrow, dimly lit Mission District room. One setting centers on the stage, while the other adds explanations from bartenders about their creations. The connection is a shift in focus, from listening to musicians to exploring drinks and food.
