Description

Serving as the primary access point into this corner of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, the site opens onto a wide, mostly flat dirt trail that traces a coastal stream valley populated by native flora and fauna. Hikers, trail runners, and nature enthusiasts turn to the path for an accessible coastal wilderness route just north of San Francisco, following the valley directly out to the shoreline at Tennessee Beach.
