Trade a rainy afternoon for a few rallies at Seattle Badminton Club in Kirkland. The dedicated facility has 10 professional grade courts, with drop in play alongside organized sessions. A separate waiting area set apart from the courts leaves somewhere to pause and catch up between games.
The club began operating in 2010. Structured ladders give regular play a competitive format, while private lessons offer a more individual way to work on the game. Adult and junior classes sit alongside a competition team. Equipment rentals, racket stringing services and an on site pro shop cover the gear side of a session, all at the same club.
At 10858 117th Place Northeast, the club opens Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from noon to 11 PM, Wednesday and Friday from 6 AM to 11 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM to 10 PM.
