Temescal Beach House
4.6 (123)attraction
A 1940 WPA-built lakeside venue with a broad flagstone patio and scenic views over Lake Temescal.
Description

Originally designed with ground-floor changing rooms for lake visitors, the building's upper level once served as the park district's original headquarters. Today, that floor functions as an event space hosting weddings, workshops, and retreats, opening out toward a vertical garden on the patio. Gatherings can coordinate with approved vendors or opt for a DIY non-catered option for reservations ending by 7 pm.
