Description
Teatro Metropólitan opened on September 8, 1943, with the film *Les Misérables*. Its Art Deco design and intimate scale mean good views from nearly any seat, and the acoustics hold up well for concerts. The friendly staff add to the experience. The surrounding area, however, is considered rough, so visitors are advised to stay alert and consider taking the metro.
