Tapestried Lounge Rooms Tucked Into The House Of Blues
A psychedelic, tapestry-lined retreat for House of Blues crowds, open before and after Lansdowne Street shows.
🧵 Behind the tapestries
Foundation Room Boston is a members-only lounge tucked inside the House of Blues on Lansdowne Street, steps from Fenway Park. Patchwork tapestries cover the walls, Persian rugs layer the floors, and chandeliers light a maze of small rooms.
The lounge runs before and after concerts downstairs, with DJs spinning between sets and an outdoor deck for air. Regulars point out that bar service moves faster up here than on the main floor during a sold-out show.
Chesterfield sofas and carved doorways give the space an opulent, layered look, and signs guide guests through the connected rooms. Drink prices run high, and the lounge fills around the concerts downstairs.
