Description
Perched at the fourth station of Kitadake at an elevation of 373 meters, this lookout provides an up-close perspective on Sakurajima’s terrain, where you can watch volcanic plumes rising from Minamidake. On clear days, the vista stretches far across the water to take in Mount Kaimon and the Kirishima mountain range. Closer in, the deck holds its own quiet curiosity: seven heart-shaped stones hidden in the stone walls.
