太宰治記念館「斜陽館」

Designated as an Important Cultural Property, the estate stretches well beyond its front facade into surprisingly spacious hallways and airy tatami rooms. Displays detailing Osamu Dazai’s life and work sit alongside spaces that reveal his childhood surroundings, inviting visitors to view the architecture through his own written accounts of the house. In the annex, a converted storehouse runs video screenings that expand on his literary background.
