Description
Set along Tacony Creek, the grounds preserve watershed habitat within an urban landscape. The Whitaker Gateway connects directly into green spaces supported by the Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed Partnership and managed as a Philadelphia Parks and Recreation Friends Group. The park also hosts watershed programs, community events, and weekly group runs and outdoor activities.
