Swim With Waikiki's Sea Turtles and Save Some Energy for the Kayaks
A catamaran from Kewalo Basin reaches Turtle Canyon in about 15 minutes, carrying snorkel gear, kayaks and paddleboards.
Blue Ocean Snorkeling runs this three-hour trip on a catamaran out of Kewalo Basin Harbor in Honolulu. The boat reaches Turtle Canyon off Waikiki in about 15 minutes, and the snorkeling there is with Hawaiian green sea turtles and tropical fish in their natural habitat. Kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and sea scooters ride along with the snorkel gear.
The crew handles the equipment and walks first-time participants through each step, and the trip includes pickup from set points around Waikiki.

One seat covers the boat, snorkel gear, life vests, snacks and the Waikiki pickup. As of October 27, 2026, the booking calendar shows adults at USD 90 and children 2 to 7 at USD 85. Children under 2 ride free on an adult's lap and stay out of the water.
Tips are extra, and so is a GoPro rental at USD 40 plus tax.

The six activities are snorkeling with the turtles, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, sea scooters, swimming and jumping off the boat, and some time under sail. The kayaks are not tethered to the catamaran, and the paddling is your own. Every piece of equipment is already on board.
Cup Noodles and Diamond Head From the Deck

Back on board, there are muffins, cups of noodles and snacks, with hot and cold water, coffee and tea, and two restrooms. The deck looks across to Waikiki and Diamond Head. Dolphins are a matter of luck, and humpback whales are possible in whale season.
Life Vests for Everyone, Float Boards for the Unsure
First-time snorkelers and less-confident swimmers are welcome. Life jackets are provided, and crew members can get in the water with flotation boards for anyone who wants something to hold.
It is a shared boat with up to 38 travelers, and guiding is in English and Korean. The trip is not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health, and guests prone to motion sickness are advised to take medication before boarding.
Pickup Starts With an Email From You
Free pickup covers designated points within Waikiki, and it has to be arranged. After booking, email the operator your email address, hotel or accommodation address, reservation number, tour date and tour time, and the crew assigns the nearest pickup point. Without that information at least 24 hours ahead, the pickup is canceled and check-in happens at the harbor.
The time on the voucher is the boat departure time, not the pickup time. Pickup usually comes about an hour earlier and varies by location, with the exact time sent by email or through the booking site's messages; there are no confirmation calls. Be at the pickup point at least 5 minutes early. The shuttle runs on time and cannot wait for latecomers.
Drivers check in at the Pier D #112 gate in Kewalo Basin Harbor and should allow about 30 minutes to find parking; the boat leaves at its set time. As of October 27, 2026, the calendar shows departures every day at 8:00 AM and 11:10 AM.
Through this booking, cancellations 24 hours or more before departure are refunded in full. The operator's own notes on the listing call cancellations within two days of the tour non-refundable, and canceling before that point clears both. If poor weather or too few travelers cancel the trip, you're offered another date or a full refund. Gratuities are not included.
