Swan House at Atlanta History Center
4.7 (1,186)museum
This 1928 Buckhead mansion pairs classical European architecture with terraced gardens and cascading fountains.
Description

Architect Philip Trammell Shutze designed the estate for Edward and Emily Inman, adapting classical elements to twentieth-century living. Inside, rooms carry an interior motif centered around the recurring theme of swans. The Atlanta Historical Society acquired the property in 1966 along with most of its original furnishings, opening it as a house museum before it found wider recognition as the filming location for President Snow's mansion in The Hunger Games films.
