SW Community Gardens

Entering its eleventh year in Southwest DC, the hub organizes its work around mutual aid and local food production. Regular seasonal work days keep the grounds active, while agricultural initiatives employ local youth to deliver fresh produce to nearby public housing residents. Beyond the harvest, the calendar includes educational workshops, arts projects, and seasonal kick-off celebrations.
