Sand to Shaded Gardens
Surf Practice for First Time Riders
Golden Wave Surf School meets students on the sand at the foot of Washington Blvd in Venice. Private and group lessons, intermediate coaching, and kids camps support different starting points. Surfboard and wetsuit rentals can accompany a session, with optional photo and video recording packages. Group lessons are for ages 18+, kids lessons start at five, and camps serve ages 7 to 17.

Brickwork and Bookshelves
Shaded gardens and old brick buildings give Rivian Venice room for a quieter pause. An indoor library offers a place to read, while the outdoor courtyard has generous seating. Vehicle displays share the grounds with spaces for working and relaxing. Doors open at 10:00 AM daily and close at 6:00 PM on weekdays or 7:00 PM on weekends.

Saltwater Lessons and Brickwork Gardens
Golden Wave Surf School and Rivian Venice give this pairing a clear change of pace. The first centers on learning in the water, with private instruction, group sessions, and equipment rentals on the sand at the foot of Washington Blvd. The second offers space to sit and read among old brick buildings, a shaded garden, and an indoor library. Together, they connect hands-on beach activity with a quieter community setting, where vehicle displays share room with courtyard seating.
