Description

Stretching along the western edge of Point Loma, the 68-acre park divides into an 18-acre linear coastal bluff strip and a 50-acre hillside designated as a multiple species conservation area linking to the Point Loma Ecological Reserve.

Along the natural arches and open Pacific vantage points, migrating California gray whales can often be observed offshore during their annual journey. The terrain at the rim remains intentionally raw, marked by unfenced cliffs and unstable drop-offs that lack safety railings.
