Sunlit Cafe Mornings with Baklava in East Harlem

Enjoy bold cortados beside a plant-filled back patio near Lexington Avenue.

Try Turkish coffee in Harlem.

🌿 A Bright Morning Base

A sunlit, plant filled back patio is the reason to detour off Lexington Avenue in East Harlem, and The Townhouse Cafe backs it up with Turkish coffee, rich cortados, and bold, strong brews. The pastry case carries fresh baklava, bombolinas, and chocolate brownies. Pick one and claim a seat.

Inside, the decorated room is built for lingering, quiet enough to read a book or catch up with friends, and the exceptionally friendly staff make it easy to stay a little longer than planned. Tea and pastries round out the counter for anyone skipping the caffeine.

Doors open at 7 AM Monday through Friday and close at 6 PM. Saturday runs from half past seven AM to 6 PM, and Sunday keeps the same half past seven AM start but closes earlier at 5 PM. Grab a Turkish coffee and a square of baklava, then head out back while the patio still catches the light.
