Summer Winter Community Garden

Taking its name from nearby Summer and Winter streets close to Drexel University, the space is run entirely by volunteers in association with the Neighborhood Gardens Trust. Gardeners maintain their own plots—growing whatever they choose—while sharing upkeep of the common grounds and mosaic art. Within its confines, the garden balances individual cultivation with collective care, offering beauty, sustenance, and a quiet sense of calm.
