Beyond the counter, the menu balances sweets with savory soups, sandwiches, and salads alongside floats. Cartoonist Bill Keane frequently drew the parlor into his daily Family Circus strips, and the on-site gift shop displays artwork from the comic. Just past the booths, an arcade parlor gives younger visitors a space to play games between scoops.
