Sudbury Valley Trustees-- Hazel Brook Conservation Area
4.9 (8)park
A quiet conservation area where trails trace a rushing brook, an old farm pond, and stone walls into Weston Town Forest.
Description

Across the 48-acre parcel, old forest roads weave through open fields and woods of large oaks, beeches, and maples, with white pines filling in former agricultural ground. A figure-eight hike takes about an hour, passing views over fields that have changed little in 150 years. For a longer outing, a moderately easy uphill path connects directly to a network of more than 65 miles of trails across the adjacent town forest and surrounding public lands.
