Studio Diner
4.4 (3,236)restaurant
A 1940s-style diner born on an active film set, originally opened to feed late-night television crews.
Description

Built in San Diego's Kearny Mesa business district in 2003, the diner was established right next to the 20-acre Stu Segall Productions facility, which was used primarily for filming movies and television series like *Veronica Mars*, *Bring It On*, and *I Married a Monster*. The space was modified into a classic restaurant to serve San Diego's general public alongside production staff, and was later featured on Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" in 2007 and 2019.
