Operating as the social enterprise arm of downtown shelter New Horizons since 2009, the cafe structures its work around a four-month apprenticeship program grounded in trauma-informed practices and one-on-one engagement. Proceeds from the counter fund that hands-on training while also channeling support beyond Seattle to Kay Tita's work with young entrepreneurs in Haiti.
