Strangers Turn Into a Team on This Nashville Pub Crawl
A guided two-and-a-half-hour walk through downtown Nashville bars a couple of blocks off Broadway, with team games between rounds. The guide, the games and a prize for the winning team are part of the ticket; the drinks you buy yourself, at specials the bars run for the crawl.
You will probably not know anyone when this starts, and that is how the operator likes it. The listing's own line is that by the end it is very difficult to tell who arrived with whom.
The route stays around Printers Alley and Second Avenue North, close to Broadway but off its busiest stretch. Between bars a guide mixes local history with games and a running team competition.

This is Music City Pub Crawl's general group crawl, the shared version for individuals, couples and small parties. Prices are per person, and drinks are paid for separately at each bar.
Guided Pub Crawl Walking Tour of Downtown NashvilleMusic City Pub Crawl · 2.5 hours · walking crawl within two city blocks · drinks not included · 21+www.viator.comYour Starting Bar Arrives by Text Before 9 AM

Watch for a text and an email before 9 a.m. Central on the day of your crawl. The listing says crawls usually start at Big Shotz on Second Avenue North and occasionally at another bar nearby. That morning message names the starting bar, your guide, and where inside the bar to find them.
If nothing has arrived by 9 a.m., the operator asks you to call (615) 345-4458. Give a phone number at checkout that can receive texts. Booking with a number from outside the United States? The listing asks you to install WhatsApp at least 24 hours ahead; the email still comes either way.
The operator's booking notes ask you to arrive at least 15 minutes early. Every starting bar sits within two blocks of Broadway between Second and Fourth Avenue North, and for drivers the operator names public garages at 147 4th Ave. N. and 210 Commerce St.
Drinks Are Yours to Buy, at Specials Kept for the Crawl

The ticket covers the guide, the games and prizes for the winning team. Drinks are not included; the listing says each bar runs drink specials available only to the crawl.
There are no food stops, so eat before you go. The operator's booking notes say there is no chance to eat during the crawl. Tips are not included either, and the operator says its guides appreciate them.
The number of bars depends on which page you read. The listing promises five stops in one place and five to six bars in another, and the operator's own booking page says four to five. All of them sit within two city blocks, and the listing names Printers Alley and Second Avenue North among the areas covered.
Team Games Do the Introductions
The operator's own page lists karaoke with LED air guitars, mechanical bull rides and pop-up whiskey barrel games among the things that can happen on a night. Travelers describe being split into teams for trivia, earning beads along the way, with a prize for the team on top at the end.
Solo travelers come too. A woman traveling alone wrote in May 2025 that it felt like a safe way to enjoy Nashville's music. Another traveler that April joined alone to get the lay of the land.
Two cautions come from the reviews. A 2024 traveler wrote that the night depends on who else books, and a 2025 traveler wanted famous landmarks and found these bars less frequented than expected. The quieter bars are the design of the route.
The listing sets a minimum of six guests per crawl. If fewer book, you are offered an alternative tour or a full refund.
Twenty-One and Up, With an ID the Bars Will Take
Every guest must be 21 or older and carry a valid government ID, whatever their age. The listing says Nashville bars will not serve you without one, and some will not accept a temporary paper ID. International travelers should bring a passport, because some bars refuse international driver's licenses.
The dress code is casual. The operator calls the walking minimal and suggests comfortable shoes, and the listing does not recommend the crawl for pregnant travelers.
Crawls run rain or shine. When rain is forecast, the operator says it picks a closer cluster of bars. Celebrating a birthday or a bachelorette party? The listing asks you to mention it in the special requirements box when you book.
As of November 4, 2026, the booking calendar sells afternoon departures at 1:00, 2:30, 4:00 and 5:00 PM, with the mix changing by day. Cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund. The crawl lasts about two and a half hours and finishes at a different bar, a short walk from where it began, with a team you did not have when you walked in.
