Stranger Things' Hawkins, From the Wheeler House to Billy's Pool
A private car takes two to six people past the houses, pool and steelworks around Atlanta that stood in for Hawkins.
Hawkins, Indiana, the town at the center of Stranger Things, was assembled from real streets in and around Atlanta. This tour puts your own party in a guide's car for about three hours and drives between the pieces: the Wheeler family's house, the pool the booking page calls Billy's domain in Season 3, and Brimborn Steelworks, where the Mind Flayer nested.
Reviews from 2019 through 2026 keep describing guides who bring clips from the show and line each scene up with the place in front of you. Fans who know the episodes get the most from it.

The booking page splits the route in two: Upside locations inside Atlanta, and Down sites south of the city, in several small towns the production used. The operator describes its tours as mostly driving with some walking.
Departures leave at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM Monday through Saturday, and only at 2:00 PM on Sundays. Sunday visitors get one slot.
Hotel Pickup, or the Free Lot by the Library
Most travelers are collected at their hotel. The listing covers anywhere in Midtown and Downtown Atlanta, asks for the cell number you will carry on the trip, and says the guide texts the day before to confirm the pickup. The booking form also lets you settle the pickup with the operator later, and the operator's own FAQ lists Buckhead among its pickup areas.
Driving in? Park free in the National Park Service lot beside the library. It is the visitor lot of the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park, whose entrance the park gives as 423 John Wesley Dobbs Avenue NE. A traveler who met there in 2022 wrote that you just park near the library and the guide comes to you, after a text with the time and the car to look for.
Two Stop Lists That No Longer Match
The booking page and the operator's own site no longer list the same stops. Both name the Hawkins neighborhoods with the Wheeler, Sinclair and Henderson homes, the pool, Brimborn Steelworks, and a glimpse of the studio where the show was filmed, which the booking page calls Screen Gems and the operator calls Cinespace Studios. The booking page also names Hawkins Middle School and Hawkins High School. The operator's current list drops both and adds Hawkins Lab and Hawkins Town Hall.
Both school stops are gone, and Hawkins Lab is coming down. A filming-location tracker identifies Patrick Henry High School in Stockbridge as the building that played both Hawkins schools, and Henry County Schools broke ground on a new STEM high school on that site in April 2025. In February 2026, The Georgia Sun reported that demolition had started on the former Georgia Mental Health Institute building on Emory University's Briarcliff campus, which was used for Hawkins National Laboratory. Treat the houses, pool and steelworks as the core of the route. At the steelworks in East Point, the venue says Billy's 1978 Camaro is parked outside the factory. The Byers house, Skull Rock and Benny's Burgers belong to the operator's separate all-day tour.
Two to Six People, Ten and Up
The operator says guides drive their own vehicles, with a minivan or bus kept for larger groups. A booking needs at least two travelers and stops at six, and every traveler needs a paid ticket, children included.
The youngest age the booking page sells is ten. The operator also advises against the tour for children under ten, citing the amount of walking and the topics. A traveler touring with a 12-year-old niece wrote that the guide engaged her and the adults alike.

When the three hours are up, the operator says it can drop you at a restaurant of your choice, and lunch or dinner can be the last stop.
