Description

Operating south of downtown San Antonio since 1915, the public-use airfield sits within the state's only UNESCO World Heritage site district along the San Antonio Missions parkway. While serving as a hub for general aviation, flight training, and aircraft maintenance, the grounds also house the Texas Air Museum showcasing the Flying Stinson Family. Visitors can take scenic helicopter tours over the region or rent bikes to head out onto the adjoining trail.
