Description

Founded in 1980 by a U.S. Marine named Iliescu, the business started as a twelve-stool corner shop at Bustleton Avenue and St. Vincent Street. He chose the name "Prince" as a direct answer to the self-proclaimed "King" of Philly cheesesteaks. Decades on, the counter culture still centers on that neighborhood welcome: exceptionally friendly service, easy conversation, and staff who remember customers by name.
