Miami Design District: Silver Art Photo Booth, Then Walk to Espresso
Inside Galena a portrait is the exhibit, reflecting you in a silver mirrored booth. Coffee waits a 3-minute courtyard walk away.
Paradise Plaza to Palm Court
🪞 Miami's silver art photo booth
Galena fills the open-air walkway between Gucci and Chanel at 151 NE 41st Street, a silver mirrored shell that reflects whatever stands beside it: palms, sky, and pedestrians. Jillian Mayer, the Cuban-American artist behind it, conceived the sculpture in collaboration with Foto Comercio, turning the booth into an interactive public art piece. The booth operates daily outdoors in Paradise Plaza; step in and wait for your printed strip.

☕ Three minutes to espresso at {petite} maman
Leave the walkway for Palm Court, where the {petite} maman counter sits at 140 NE 39th Street. It is 225 metres, about a three-minute walk. The cafe serves drinks and pastries from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily, but the kitchen closes at 4:00 PM, so come before 4:00 PM for pressed sandwiches. Grab a courtyard table under the palms and inspect your photo strip.

🚶 Tips for visiting Galena
Galena sits on an outdoor public walkway and is accessible daily. The surrounding district shops operate Monday to Saturday 11:00 AM–8:00 PM and Sunday 12:00 PM–6:00 PM, making weekdays right at 11:00 AM the quietest window. Foto Comercio sets pricing on-site per booth location, and the booth accepts card payments, so bring a credit card rather than expecting a free souvenir. The cafe is three minutes on foot.
