4.7 (199)A Golden Gate Park aquarium spanning a vibrant Philippine coral reef, an indoor swamp, and a flooded rainforest.
Description
Located inside the California Academy of Sciences, the aquarium houses nearly 40,000 live animals from more than 900 species, moving between deep ocean ecosystems and flooded rainforests. Its shallow coral reef exhibit shelters thousands of reef fish, rays, and sharks, while the indoor swamp is home to Claude, an American alligator with albinism. Immersive displays tie into conservation and scientific research, accompanied by daily animal feedings and public education programs.
