5.0 (1)An Inner Sunset fixture since 1950, this family-run dance school teaches everything from classical ballet to hip-hop.
Description
Ruth Jevarian, a professional ballet and Armenian folk dancer, founded the studio before passing the reins in 1974 to her daughter, Micky Powell, who has directed it on Moraga Street for over 40 years. Beyond the core staples, classes extend into acrobatics, contemporary, and musical theater. Instruction covers both children and adults, centered on building technique, confidence, and a close-knit community atmosphere.
