Stand on the Glass Floor 100 Floors Above Hudson Yards
Seven indoor installations come before the elevator, then 52 seconds to an open-air deck that weather can close.
Edge sits on Level 100 of 30 Hudson Yards, and the deck pushes out past the face of the tower. The glass walls along its edge lean away from you. A triangular panel set into the floor lets you look straight down.
The deck is open air, so the forecast decides how much of the ticket you get to use. The indoor installations and the indoor deck on Level 100 stay open in all weather. Only the outdoor sky deck closes, and the operator says that happens temporarily, in extreme weather.

Every tier covers the same ground: the indoor installations, the indoor deck on Level 100, the outdoor sky deck, the glass floor, the angled glass walls, the skyline seats and the eastern point. What separates them is how much your booking can move afterwards.
Booked direct with Edge, General Admission and Advance Saver lock you to one slot, and Flex Admission is the only tier you can change, up to two hours before your visit. Advance Saver asks for a booking at least fourteen days out and takes up to 35 percent off in return. Those tier rules are Edge's own, and they do not follow the ticket to a reseller.
Edge Observation Deck TicketTimed entry to the Level 100 sky deck at 30 Hudson Yards.affiliate.klook.comWhat the glass floor actually is

The glass floor is a single triangular panel near the point of the wedge, 225 square feet set into a deck of 7,500. It is smaller than most photographs of it suggest. You stand on it and look a hundred stories down.
The angled walls do the heavier work. Seventy-nine panels ring the deck, nine feet tall and leaning out 6.6 degrees, so open sky sits in your peripheral vision the whole time you are at the edge.
Level 4 is where the time goes

The entrance sits on Level 4 of the shops and restaurants at 30 Hudson Yards, one elevator ride above the street. From the 7 train at 34th Street and Hudson Boulevard, walk south toward Vessel, go into the shops and take the elevators up to Level 4.
Then comes the part people underestimate. The operator allows 60 to 90 minutes for the whole visit and says the Level 4 multimedia experience can take up to 30 to 60 minutes before you reach the elevator. The ride to Level 100 is 52 seconds.
Timed entry, and how strict it is
Edge runs timed entry to manage capacity. The operator asks you to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your slot, and allows a 15 minute grace period if you miss it.
The published schedule runs 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily, and hours change in certain periods. Last entry is one hour before closing, which carries more weight once you add the 30 to 60 minutes on Level 4. Arrive at 9:00 PM on a 10:00 PM close and you will be moving the whole time.
Buying through a reseller changes your options
Edge's own Manage My Booking portal only handles tickets bought directly from edgenyc.com. A ticket bought through a reseller gets changed or cancelled under that reseller's terms, which can be the looser ones. The dated ticket on the card above is listed as free to cancel before the activity starts. Buying the same tier direct does not give you that. Worth settling before you pick a checkout.
Bought direct from edgenyc.com:
- Standard tickets are non-refundable
- Cancellation Protection, added at checkout, allows a full refund
- Flex Admission allows date and time changes up to two hours before the visit
