Stage Lights to Patio Wine for Dallas Date Night
Build the evening around opera, touring Broadway, ballet, plays, or symphonic programs, then trade formal halls for New Mexico Tempranillo and cheese platters. The final stop leaves room for shared pours, larger parties, and conversation.
Flora and Prospect Venues
Upper-Tier Stage Arts
Begin a Dallas date night at Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House, where opera shares the calendar with touring Broadway musicals, ballet, plays, and stand-up comedy. Since 2009, the auditorium has framed those productions in a sleek horseshoe design.
The multileveled layout supports clear sightlines into the upper tiers. Tight legroom is worth weighing when choosing seats, while a chandelier rises into the ceiling before showtime. Weekday venue hours run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Architectural Listening Room
Central dress circle placement is preferred for an unobstructed stage view at Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center. Side spots in the dress circle offer partial stage views. Designed by I. M. Pei, it is the performing home of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and the Lay Family Concert Organ. Its acoustics keep instrumental sections distinct and clear during symphonic programs. Historical program recreations appear occasionally. Public hours run Monday through Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Prospect Avenue Gathering
Times Ten Cellars shifts a date night toward wine pours. One standout Tempranillo is made from New Mexico grapes. Cheese platters provide a shared food anchor. A broad patio leaves space for larger parties. The venue includes a private event room.
Sunday programming adds live jazz from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Signed parking simplifies arrival. The venue is closed Mondays and opens at 1:00 PM Saturday.
