St. Rat Mosaic
4.9 (90)attraction
4.9 (90)A guerrilla mosaic by trans art collective The Queer Agenda Dot Gay, reclaiming Seattle streets to celebrate trans joy.
Description
The work stems from Hot Rat Summer, a Seattle public art series that launched when a curated guerrilla exhibition transformed Cal Anderson Park overnight on August 8, 2024. That event brought together works by dozens of trans artists alongside the project's mosaic maker, spilling out into streetscapes where visitors note its creative charm and neighborhood presence. The installations quickly drew coverage across Capitol Hill before landing a ten-page feature in FANE magazine.
