Description

Originally designed by architect Eugene DeRosa, this venue began its life in 1929 as a grand destination for movies and vaudeville. Saved from demolition and transformed into a non-profit performing arts center, the space retains its intricate moldings and ornate plasterwork. Today, the 2,000-seat auditorium serves as a local hub for live concerts, comedy, and movie screenings, while also housing educational outreach programs. Guests frequently note the contrast between the historic atmosphere and the well-maintained, clean facility.
