Description

Consecrated in October 1954, the chapel seats 500 for school services and other gatherings. Its interior appointments were added over subsequent decades: an organ was installed in 1990, followed by dedicated sanctuary appointments in 1995. The stained glass window originated with a design suggested by Joanne Coon, wife of then-headmaster Rev. David P. Coon, and was developed and donated by donor families. The chapel takes its name from the first martyr of the ancient English Church, echoing St. Alban's College, an early predecessor of ‘Iolani School.
