Frustrated by lackluster office coffee pots, the founders began roasting at home before establishing an employee-owned operation rooted in Chicago. The setup roasts, brews, and pours a single house profile built from Arabica crops: beans from Brazil’s Cerrado region, family-run plots around Pereira in Colombia, and Sumatran harvest processed at the family-owned Jagong mill. It yields an unpretentious cup with a smooth chocolate note, formulated to behave consistently whether ground for a quick morning drip or steeped as cold brew.
