Description

Spring Bayou is a tidal bayou in downtown Tarpon Springs anchored by Craig Park, mature trees, and a grassy recreation space equipped with a playground, a tennis court, and a boat launch. A public staircase descends to the water at the corner of West Tarpon Avenue and North Spring Boulevard. The setting serves as the focal point for local traditions, including holiday light displays and the annual Epiphany cross dive for the local Greek Orthodox community. In colder weather, the bayou functions as a winter gathering spot for manatees alongside frequent sightings of dolphins near the waterfront paths.
