Description

Donated to San Diego in 1914 by sugar magnates John D. and Adolph Spreckels, the pavilion stands as a towering piece of 20th-century architecture framed by park gardens. Programs range from Sunday afternoon sets—where organists might pause to talk through each selection—to seasonal events such as Holiday Nights, letting the music carry well out into the surrounding grounds.
