Spend the Evening Clipped In on Hurricane's Ropes Tower
A guided evening climb on a multi-level ropes course in Hurricane, Utah. Whether the sunset comes with it depends on the month.
The Ropes of Southern Utah is an aerial adventure park on Jellystone Road in Hurricane, and this pass is its ropes course in the evening. You get a harness, a helmet and a safety briefing, clip into a continuous safety system, then work across rope bridges, cargo nets and balance elements, choosing your path from easy to extreme elements as the listing puts it. The listing describes the ropes course and never mentions the park's zipline. Its copy also places the course in the heart of Zion National Park. The address is 4059 W Jellystone Road in Hurricane, outside the park.

Tickets are sold per person for one of five evening start times. Youth tickets cover ages 5 to 17 and cost less than adult ones, and the per-person price drops once a booking reaches 11 travelers.

Every start time on this listing falls between 6:00 and 8:00 PM, year-round on its calendar. Sunset in Hurricane moves far more than that. Sunset tables put it near 6:55 PM in mid-October, and a 6:00 or 6:30 PM start then climbs into the color. From November 1, when the clocks fall back, until early February, the sun is down before the 6:00 PM start. In those months this is an after-dark climb, and the operator describes the course at night under glowing lights. In late June sunset comes close to 9:00 PM, and the later starts get the light.
Which Start Times Match the Park's Own Hours

The listing sells starts at 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30 and 8:00 PM every day. As of October 2026, the operator's own site says new sessions begin at the top of every hour and the last one starts two hours before closing. Its posted hours close the park at 9:00 PM Sunday through Thursday and at 10:00 PM on Friday and Saturday. Read together, 6:00 and 7:00 PM fit any day of the week, and 8:00 PM fits only a Friday or Saturday. The half-hour starts don't match the on-the-hour rule, and the operator notes that hours may vary for holidays and private events.
Shoes, Height and Age Decide Who Climbs
Closed-toe athletic shoes are required. The operator turns away sandals, slides, Crocs and anything open-toed, and a guest without proper footwear can't go on the course. Levels 2 through 5 need a height of 48 inches, or 42 inches with a paid chaperone, and the limits are 285 pounds and 6 feet 6 inches. The operator sorts courses by age: 4 to 6 on beginner levels, 7 to 10 on intermediate, 11 and up on advanced. The listing copy says 4 and up, but its youngest ticket is for age 5. An adult has to be on the booking, and parents stay on site for the whole session.
Wind, Health and the Wheelchair Course
Sessions may be delayed or rescheduled when wind gusts top 30 mph, and the listing lets the operator cancel for bad weather. The listing does not recommend the course for pregnant travelers or anyone with spinal injuries or poor cardiovascular health, and the operator asks anyone recovering from illness, injury or surgery to talk to staff first. The operator says the park has a dedicated course for wheelchair users. The listing ticks wheelchair accessible without saying whether this pass includes that course. Confirm that with the park before you book on that basis.
