Southern Seasons Garden
4.8 (4)attraction
A three-acre garden shaped by Japanese woodblock art, with winding sweet-flag 'rivers' and glowing wire bird sculptures.
Description

Renovations begun in 2022 anchored the grounds with a contemporary water feature—a sheet of water that seems to float from the sky and run through the landscape.
Winding paths guide visitors through a diverse collection of ornamental plants of the southeastern Piedmont, blending camellias, hostas, and native azaleas beneath shade-loving conifers. Plantings shift with the calendar, introducing spring epimedium and toad lilies, summer-blooming copper iris, and late-season phlox and rudbeckia.
